Membership
Benefits of Membership
The benefits to members from Club dues come largely from attending membership meetings and from participating in the planning, arranging, and managing the various Club-sponsored events. (One does not, of course, have to become a member in order to exhibit at Club shows, matches, and trials.) Information is dispensed at meetings that is not made available through the Club in any other way. Because of our restricted budget and the high cost of postage, many items-such as the annually revised membership directory--can be obtained only at Club meeting.
Meetings
Out of the membership meetings flow all other activities that a member may wish to become involved with. The Club encourages prospective members to find out "first hand" what we're all about by attending a meeting. We would like our members to be enthusiastic supporters of our purpose and activities. Persons interested in becoming acquainted with Club members and what they do as an organization are cordially invited to attend the next meeting of the Club, as announced in the Pyriodical or on this Website's Calendar of Events. If your interest is more passive in nature, and want to keep up with the Clubs activities then you can subscribe to the Pyriodical or visit this Website.
Eligibility
Eligibility of our club is open to all persons, sixteen years of age or older, who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the objectives of this Club. Our membership covers a wide area of the region, however, we basically serve the National Capital Area Region, and welcome all who wish to become a member and abide by the above.
We have two types of membership - Individual and family.
